Jeff was born and raised in Priest River, ID where he attended high school and worked in the Timber Industry as a logger for 40 years.
Jeff has served as a public servant for 22 years because he believes in his community and wants to do the best for them. Besides serving on many volunteer groups he has taken on many rolls within his community including serving on the Priest River City Council for 15 years, 2 terms (6 years) on the Bonner County Commissioner board, appointed as interim Mayor for a year before being elected as Mayor of the City of Priest River and is currently serving his 4-year term. Jeff has been on the BSWCD Board since early 2023 and now serves as Vice Chair of the Board.
